This magnificent farmhouse, situated on the Mahon to Fornells road, is set on a hill with breathtaking views over the open countryside. It is close to the beach of Arenal d’en Castell and 5km from the natural harbour of Addaia. It is also close to the unspoilt beaches, Favaritx, Cavalleria, and Pregonda, in the north of the island. The Mahón port and town are less than 10 minutes by car, and Fornells is 12km away. Vehicle is necessary.
Exterior:
The farmhouse was completely renovated maintaining the original characteristics of the house, it also incorporates the necessary comforts for modern day living. A 200m country lane leads to the house which is situated on top of a hill, with excellent views of the Menorcan countryside and pine forests. The enclosed swimming pool (9 x 4m with Roman steps) is surrounded by a grass area where children can play. There is also a stone barbeque and a shaded pergola furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Privacy and tranquility are guaranteed as there are no nearby neighbours.
Interior:
The interior of the house is set on the ground floor, although some areas are accessed via steps, and the original 19th century distribution of the house has been maintained. The main living room has a height of 5m, stone walls, direct outdoor access, and is tastefully decorated.
